		Even without Jagr in the lineup and Plekanec having a quiet game by his standards, Kladno was never in any real danger in this game. They did what they needed to do to win, but they had so many scoring chances in the third period until they finally scored that it could have haunted them if they'd been playing a more potent opponent. Ageless Petr Nedved was easily the best player for Liberec. (19:25:29)
		Methodical win for Kladno against Liberec. The third period was all Kladno. Apart from the latter part of the second period, Liberec never really recovered from the early point-shot goals by Zidlicky and Kaberle.

		Last play was reviewed at the stoppage. Bicek hit the post. No goal call stands. Never looked to me like a goal; even at full speed. But he had pretty much the whole upper part of the net open to him.
	49:01	Need to see a replay on that one but it looked like Bicek had plenty of net to shoot at on what turned into an outnumbered situation for Kladno in scoring range.
	47:23	Liberec hanging on by a thread. Very nearly a goal on that rush. Team running around and goalie left scrambling.
	46:00	Liberec starting to lose battles in their own end of the ice again. Kladno has had the better of the play the last two shifts; last one by the Patera line and one previous to that by the Plekanec line.

		The goal by Petr Nedved game Liberec a much-needed jolt of energy. They played some of their best recent hockey in the latter part of the period, but they need to stay out of the penalty box. In that period, Kladno won a lot of the earlier battles but Nedved stabilized the game for his team. Still anyone's game!

	39:40	Odd-man rush for Liberec late in the period but Kladno recovered in time, and the play fizzled.
	38:25	Jan Hlavac looked like he had room on the short side on a rush up the wing. Shot wide of the net.

	35:06	Melka hit heavily into the boards. He took a few moments to get up, but seems OK.

	28:10	Goal for Liberec! Nedved got the front of the net and deflected the puck home. No chance for the save once Nedved got his stick on it. Had heavy screen set up even if he hadn't deflected it.
		Liberec is not getting enough offensive puck support. Kladno is winning the battles.

	20:58	Looked like a scoring chance developing for Liberec but Kladno defense closed up the gap and blocked a shot.

		The second period strategy for Kladno should be clear. Pinc is struggling on long shots. So keep shooting them!
		Any time a team gets shaky goaltending, it can ruin the confidence of the entire club. The game play in the first period was actually somewhat even, but two bad goals against has put Liberec in a hole.
	20:00	1st PERIOD ENDED. Not the kind of start struggling Liberec wanted in front of a big home crowd.
	18:28	Nice stop by Chabera on a drive from the left circle by Melka. Freezes the puck with 1:32 left in the period
	11:06	Goal for Kladno! Soft goal allowed by Pinc. Patera won the draw initially. Liberec defender gained control and poked the puck out to the point. A long, unscreened shot by Kaberle beat the goaltender to make it 0-2 score. Because Liberec lost the puck, it's an unassisted goal.
		On the Kladno goal, Patera passed back to Zidlicky at center point. His slap shot went into the net cleanly.
