	02:10	Americans ice it for the third time--good kill so far.
	02:30	And the US is back at full strength. Other than some early pressure, Russia didn't really threaten.
	03:05	Now the Americans putting on pressure for the first time, but not able to get any shots away.
	03:37	Russia going back to the power play, as USA's Joseph Snively goes off for slashing.

	08:54	Another penalty coming against the United States. Chase Phelps for hooking.
	09:02	Point shot by Nikita Lyamkin is deflected and Nedeljkovic just manages to get the toe of his pad to make the save.
	10:20	The Russian powerplay is all over the Americans, keeping Nedeljkovic very busy.
	10:30	Penalty coming against Russia. Artur Lauta gets a two minute boarding penalty after drilling Jake Wahlin into the right half boards.
	10:54	The U.S. are back to full strength and have 1:36 of powerplay.
	11:20	Point shot by Dougherty is stopped by Korobov and the Russians are able to clear the rebound.
	11:45	Goal for Team USA! On their first powerplay opportunity the United States make it count and get on the board first. They retained puck possession, and NICK SCHMALTZ was able to cut in from the left board unguarded and fire low past Korobov glove side.
	11:59	Another powerplay chance coming for the U.S.A. Maxim Lazarev given a two minute hooking penalty.
	12:23	The U.S. go so close to scoring that the goal light went on for half a second. Nick Wolff going close.
	12:41	Goal for Team USA! After Wolff went close seconds before, the U.S. have doubled their advantage and are now 2/2 on the powerplay. JOEY DUDEK turns from helper to scorer as he buries the goal and then clatters into Korobov.
	15:46	Russians have gone close twice following that goal. Kodola almost halved the deficit but was denied once again by Nedeljkovic.
	16:45	Penalty to Russia. Artur Boltanov will sit for two or less for hooking. Can the Americans go 3 for 3 on the powerplay?
	17:01	The Russians clear the zone comfortably.
	17:25	Fantastic piece of individual skill by Joseph Snively, dancing through the Russian defence, but his low hard shot just misses the left corner.
	18:30	Great interplay between Ryan Mantha and Austin Poganski, as the former finds the latter with a hard slap-pass at the right circle. Poganski gets the shot away but great lateral movement by Korobov is enough to make the save.
	18:45	Russia back to full strength
	19:00	Final minute in the first period.
	19:18	Great pad stop by Nedeljkovic to deny Sergei Boikov's point shot.
	19:58	Great chance in the dying seconds for Poganski, but for the second time in quick succession, Korobov denies the American forward.
	20:00	1st period finished.
		A great first period between the teams. Russia dominated the opening ten minutes, helped by a number of powerplay opportunities, but the second half of the period was a different affair. With the Russians making ruts to the box, the American powerplay shone, going 2/3 through goals 56 seconds apart by Nick Schmaltz and Joey Dudek
		The teams are back on the ice as we are just about to begin the second period of today's afternoon game.

	20:31	Play whistled down for a hand pass in the American zone.
	20:47	A fantastic stretch pass by Jack Dougherty gives the U.S. an early chance. Snively takes the puck, drops it back for Wahlin, who just loses the handle as he tries to get the puck on his forehand.
	21:34	Great pad stop by Korobov, making the save on Brandon Carlo who had worked his way from the point to the slot.
	22:09	Penalty against the United States. Ryan Mantha hauls down Ilya Zinoviev who was bursting into the zone with speed.
	22:18	Eduard Nasybullin gets another shot away from the point, but Nedeljkovic makes the save comfortably.
	22:48	Big hit by Keegan Iverson on Sergei Boikov, drilling the Russian defenceman into the boards.
	24:09	U.S. back to full strength
	24:48	Jack Dougherty gets the point shot away which is kicked away by Korobov
		Shots on goal after the first period were Russia 15 U.S.A 8.
	25:39	Penalty against Team Russia. Artur Boltanov gets two minutes for slashing.
	26:28	U.S.A. go close to making it 3-0. Fantastic forechecking by Kyle Connor forces the turnover, and he works the puck back to the point. A smart move creates space but the point shot goes high and wide.
	27:39	Russia back to full strength. A Snively shot as the penalty expires is deflected by a stick up and out of play.
	29:20	Cody Milan puts in a big hit on Boikov on the boards. Later in the shift a Russian shot is deflected out of play.
	29:52	Turgeon gets a chance for the Americans, but his shot is blocked by the leg of Ilya Dervuk
	31:44	Goal for Team Russia! Just as the game was entering a lull in action, Russia have halved the deficit. The puck was worked back at the point to ALEXEI SLEPTSOV, and the CSKA Moscow junior hammers a one timer which may have got deflected on the way through, but ends up in the back of the net
	33:57	The Russians are swarming over the Americans now. Boltanov has a great chance to equalise on a 2 on 1, but is denied by a super glove save by Nedeljkovic.
	35:04	Russia are dominant at the moment, and eventually their pressure forces an American penalty. U.S.A captain Ryan Wagner is handed a two minute slashing penalty.
	35:10	And straight away the powerplay is nullified as Maxim Lazarev takes a hooking penalty in the American zone.
	36:23	Team USA penalty as Bob Nardella gets two minutes for tripping. Russia will now have 41 seconds of 4 on 3 powerplay.
	37:10	Great shot block and clearance by Nick Wolff as the first two penalties expire, giving Russia a 5 on 4 PP

	38:23	The United States are back to full strength and Nardella joins the rush out of the box. However his drop pass doesn't find its target. Russia clear the puck straight into the American bench.
	39:18	Penalties to both teams on the way. Aaron Haydon is given a two minute slashing penalty, while Daniil Vovchenko is given a ten minute unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.
	40:00	2nd period finished.
		An interesting period of hockey. Yet again in the opening ten minutes the Russians were the better team, but the U.S. grew into the period, as they did in the first. Russia clawed one goal back in the 32nd minute through an Alexei Sleptsov rocket from the point.
	40:01	Start of 3rd period.
	40:38	Goal for Team Russia! After enough chances finally Russia's powerplay comes to the party. Good puck possession behind the goal creates space in the slot and RADEL FAZELEYEV is left all alone. He receives the puck and fires a low hard shot which beats Nedeljkovic and ties the game

	45:12	Penalty coming to Russia. Nikita Lyamkin sits for two for interference.
	46:19	Goal for Team USA! It's a third powerplay goal for the United States! The puck is worked back to the point and is fired by JACK DOUGHERTY whose shot eludes the glove of Korobov and lights the lamp
	47:34	Almost immediately after the goal the Russians go onto the attack. Artur Lauta is denied by a quick glove save by Nedeljkovic
	49:16	Goal for Team USA! Great work on the backcheck by Kyle Connor forces the turnover. He gains the zone, dishes to JOSEPH SNIVELY who cuts to the net with speed. The puck is knocked away but Snively manages to get his stick to it and knock it past Korobov
	50:38	Korobov gloves the puck from a Wagner shot from the left wing
	53:07	Good zone time for the Americans. Poganski gets a shot which is padded away by Korobov
	53:34	Bittner gets a shot from the left wing which Korobov saves. Some pushing and shoving after the whistle.
	55:30	Artur Lauta breaks into the zone with speed on the right wing, but his hard shot is knocked away by the blocker of Nedeljkovic
	57:01	Incredible speed by Snively who gets a breakaway. He tries to go backhand on Korobov but is unable to get the shot away. He turns back to the slot and fires on the turn but it goes wide.
	57:36	Korobov gets his glove on the puck to freeze it. Russia needs a miracle now.
	57:48	Good work by Kirill Pilipenko, taking it upon himself to create offence. He gains the zone and fires on a 1 on 2, but Nedeljkovic saves with his shoulder and manages to snatch the rebound
	58:27	Glove save by Nedeljkovic on Ryzhkov. A few seconds later, Russia gets the puck to the net once again but Nedeljkovic is more than a match for it.
	59:00	Final minute in the third period.
	59:08	Boikov fires a one timer wide.
	59:22	The Russians are loading up the points. This time it is Sleptsov who gets the shot away, but Nedeljkovic saves and freezes the puck.
	59:22	Russia call a time out.
	59:22	Penalties coming for both teams after some shoving after the whistle. Aaron Haydon and Yevgeni Svechnikov are in the box.
	59:37	The U.S. clear their lines and fire the puck to neutral ice.
	59:49	The U.S. force the Russians back into their zone, and almost out of frustration, Eduard Nasybullin takes a penalty. That's pretty much game over.

		A fantastic victory for the United States, who bounce back from the overtime loss to Finland and take all three points. Three points each for Joey Dudek and Nick Schmaltz, while Jack Dougherty scored the game winner to go with an assist.
