    58:58

Great hands by Bennett to get past Nasybullin but he drags his shot just wide

Fabbri has a chance as he gains the blue line, but Sleptsov once again gets his stick in the way of the puck and deflects it to the corner

Hawrlyuk with a huge hit in the neutral zone

Once again, my apologies for being unable to provide time updates. The scoreboard is simply blank

Long low shot by Pilipenko is easily knocked into the corner by Billia

Canada are now back to full strength after killing the 5 on 3

    Start of 3rd period.

Despite Russia looking good, Canada actually outshot them 15-5 in the second.

The teams are back on the ice. Scoreboard has reset so we'll have to wait and see how that goes.

The announcer was having to give time updates as the period came to an end but the period draws to a close! A much better affair in the second period for the Russians, who certainly stepped up their game. After a plethora of powerplay chances, the Russians finally drew within one with Sharipzyanov's point shot which beat Billia, who was perhaps too far back in his crease.

    40:00
    2nd period finished.
