    Goal for Team Canada!

With Korobov pulled, Canada were able to win the draw. Rourke Chartier finds CLARK BISHOP and the Canada forward takes the puck up into the neutral zone and fires a shot which goes in off the post. Game, set and match Canada.

Canada hit the bar! A Mckeown point shot is deflected in front by Dal Colle but the puck rings the bar and stays out

Penalty coming against Russia. Ilya Dervuk takes the offensive zone hooking call

Fantastic forechecking by the Russians creates a chance. Vladislav Kamenev fires a one timer from the point which Billia gets a piece of with his glove, knocking it onto the post and somehow it stays out. The Russians thought they had scored

    36:51
Penalty against Russia. A pretty stupid play by Yevgeni Nazarkin to take the interference minor

    35:01
    Goal for Team Russia!

Finally Russia get the powerplay going. The puck is worked back to the point to DAMIR SHARIPZYANOV, and his hard wrist shot goes top corner glove side on Julio Billia. The Russians are within one

    34:10
Penalty coming against Canada. Roland Mckeown gets the tripping call

    25:43
Russia get a two on one shorthanded break as the penalty is about to expire. Great speed by Artur Boltanov in the neutral zone. He tries to cut towards the centre from the left wing but is felled by Ekblad who gets the two minute minor penalty for tripping

    23:45
Penalty against Russia. Yevgeni Svechnikov to the box for not the first time in this tournament. He gets the interference minor

    19:20
    Goal for Team Canada!

Spencer Watson went close in the build up, only to be denied by Sergei Boikov's fantastic block. However, Canada keep Russia scrambling, and the puck eventually falls to an unmarked SAM BENNETT at the back post, who makes no mistake tapping the puck in.

    18:40
Penalty coming against Russia. Daniil Vovchenko for tripping

    15:31
Canada are loading up Ekblad at the point. Canada's captain gets a hard shot away which is kept out by a great glove save by Sergei Korobov

    14:52
Penalty against Russia. Kirill Pilipenko gets two for the hook. Canada with the momentum

    10:58
A great chance for Ilya Zinoviev at the back door but Billia somehow gets back to keep the puck out. The Russian forward didn't get all of the shot though. Better PP by the Russians

    10:30
Penalty against Canada. Carrier fires the puck straight over the plexi for a delay of game penalty.

    04:21
Penalty coming against Canada. Sam Bennett for slashing

    Goal for Team Canada

Wow, Canada takes the lead 39 seconds in. SPENCER WATSON brings the puck into the zone with speed. Yegor Tsvetkov seemingly cuts out the action but he ends up poking the puck through the five hole of Sergei Korobov. It's an own goal and Spencer Watson gets the credit.
    Apologies for the original error.

    Jon Rowson
