It will be the first game for Klagenfurt in group H and the whole club is really looking forward to a big clash with the germans. "Our whole organization spreads a big anticipation. It will be a thrilling, fast and offensive minded game to watch", says KAC-Head-Coach Doug Mason.
It is not sure yet, if he can count on a full roster. Forward Stefan Geier is still out with an upper body injury, while a fielding of the the two defensive men Jason DeSantis and Kevin Kapstad is questionable.
For the guests from south germany this will be already the second game of the group stage. On thursday, when Red Bull took a solid 4:2-win from the slovakian team Kosice, Captain Michael Wolf became man of the match with three scored goals in the first two periods.
The team from munich landed in Klagenfurt on friday afternoon and completed his first on ice practice saturday noon.
