    Tournament system

    Eight teams, Ocelari Trinec, Sparta Prague, Vitkovice Ridera, Energie Karlovy Vary, CSKA Moscow, Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, Ice Hockey School Riga and Malmö Redhawks, are divided into two group with four teams each. Each team will play three games in the group stage against every team in its group.
    The first two teams from each group will advance into semi-finals. Rest of teams will play in 5th-8th place group.
