The very next attack leads to the 5th goal for SKA anyway. ROMAN CERVENKA received the puck behind the net and with his back towards the net he turned around and fired the puck into the right top corner from short distance – what a beauty!
The time out stayed without effect! SKA had another two chances and one of them was used by ALEXANDER KUCHERYAVENKO whose shot from just left to the Avangard net went somehow past Lassila who didn't look too lucky there.
In power play the team from St. Petersburg punishes their opponents again! KEVIN DALLMAN receives a pass just in front of Lassila and fires the puck past him for the 3-1 lead!
The army club turns the game around and again the goal scorer is VIKTOR TIKHONOV! He received a pass from behind the net and from short distance he left Lassila no chance at all to react!
Unbelievable! Shorthanded the guests score after a nice solo by VIKTOR TIKHONOV who skated into the Avangard zone on his own and surprised Lassila with a precise shot into the right bottom corner!
KIRILL LYAMIN opens the score for the home side! Sergei Kalinin's back hand shot was stopped by Salak from short distance but the rebound came to Lyamin who had no problems to beat the SKA goalie who was out of position after his initial save!
