    Sibir may have been considered strong favorites for today's game, but Omsk proved as very tough opposition. In fact, Avangard was better at certain game stats. Guests scored the only goal of opening period, but were beaten twice in second. They applied strong pressure throughout final period, but home team took their defensive job seriously and won the game after goalless final period at the end.
