That's the end of the game, and it's a 2-1 victory for Ak Bars Kazan! And on the balance of play maybe they just about deserve it. After Dmitriy Obukhov gave them the lead for the second and final time in the 26th minute they didn't give Donbass too many chances, though the hosts will count themselves unlucky. Despite Janne Pesonen's early opener they managed to reply through Viktor Zakharov, and if they would have been a bit more composed in front of goal they could have got something out of the game. The KHL now takes a short break until Friday because of New Year celebrations in Russia, but join us tomorrow for action from the World Junior Championships! (18:44:10)
