    The Czechs rebounded from an inconsistent effort against Sweden with a solid game against Latvia from start to finish. The final score is 4-2 but it would have been worse if not for the goaltending of Edgars Masalskis.

    The Czechs are now 1-1 and in 2nd place in the group with 3 points, while Latvia is 4th with 0.
