    It was a lot of hard work for Sweden but in the end a rebound finished by Daniel Alfredsson after a shot by Erik Karlsson in the 53rd minute gives Sweden the 1-0 win against hard working Swiss who once more failed to turn their chances into goals.

    After this game Sweden are the first team to have qualified directly for the quarterfinals as both Czech Republic and Switzerland who could still get 6 points were beaten by them in head-to-head matches and Latvia with 0 points can't get the same number of points anymore.
