We have seen a great game today, let's hope the players will be able to sustain the level of attractiveness and keep entertaining the fans in such a fabulous way in other games as well. Great display from home side, you have to say that they were the better side today. The hosts displayed good teamplay with a lot of passes. The visiting side patiently waited on their own half to take the ball off the opponent and to hit them on the break. (11:44:28)

    Game over.

Eintracht Frankfurt dominate the game at the moment by exchanging a combination of one to two touch passes. Great compatibility between the players.

    85
Florian Meyer shows a red card with no hesitation. Anthony Modeste can have an early bath and think about his challenge.

    84
Roberto Firmino (Hoffenheim) has a great chance to score from a penalty kick. He shoots to the left post, but Kevin Trapp (Eintracht Frankfurt) leaps out to thwart his attempt.

    81
Joseph-Claude Gyau nearly creates a chance, but his attempt to pick out a teammate with a through ball dooes not come off.

    80
The resulting set piece, sent into the penalty area by Constant Djakpa, was easily averted by one of the defenders.

    77
Kevin Volland wastes a promising opportunity as he produces a goal-bound effort from the edge of the box. Kevin Trapp, with a class goalkeeping, stops the ball which would have ended up inside the left post.

    74
Stephan Schröck (Eintracht Frankfurt) can't expect anything else than a yellow card for his hard tackle. And a yellow it is. Florian Meyer doesn't think twice to pull it out of his pocket.

    73
Eugen Polanski tackles a bit over-zealously. Florian Meyer blows for a foul against his team.

Stephan Schröck found some space to dink a cross from the side into the box, but it would have to be more precise to threaten the opponent.

    56
Herdling attempts to find one of his teammates with a fine lofted pass, but the defence reacts well to intercept the effort.
