    The final buzzer has indeed sounded, and with yet another simply dazzling display Russia have thrashed Kazakhstan 7-2! The Russians are in awesome form and they can already talk about the quarterfinals. Sergey Plotnikov helped himself to a double as Yegor Yakovlev, Danis Zaripov, Nikolay Kulyomin, Viktor Tikhonov and Alexander Burmistrov also got their names in on the act. It's another game to forget for the Kazakhs, but Mikhail Panshin and Andrey Spiridonov did get a couple of consolation goals.
