    This is the very first game of the 2014 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup. These two teams will be competing in the Piestany Group, along with Sweden and Switzerland. Canada is the perennial favourite at this tournament and won it last year, beating Team USA in the final. Switzerland finished 6th last season, falling to Finland in its last game.
