    There's the final buzzer, and in an entertaining encounter ZSC Lions Zurich have seen off Valerenga Oslo 4-1 in the opening match of the Champions Hockey League! The hosts dominated for long periods with Chris Baltisberger, Ryan Keller, Mark Bastl and Sandro Zangger all scoring. Jorgen Karterud got the only marker for Valerenga. Mathias Seger and Anders Hilt Joergensen can't quite drop the gloves before they're stopped by the referees, but both have still been sent to the penalty box! But the Norwegian for Valerenga has been punished for elbowing in the same episode, making it a Zurich four on three powerplay!
