HV71 comes from a 3-2 victory in their first game against Kloten Flyers, home in Kinnarps Arena. The blue ones got off to a good start in the tournament and the confidence is on top coming into tomorrows game.
HV71's topscorer Erik Christensen is now the player to look out for the opponents, but HV71 has a couple of star players in the team. Ridderwall, Jämtin and Fiala did a very good contribution against Kloten. HV71 were missing five players last game, among them Tedenby and it is not certain that these players are coming in to the game tomorrow.
Red Bull Salzburg lost their first game against current European Trophy champions JYP Jyväskylä (Finland) and the score was 3-2. For Salzburg coming to Jönköping and battle against HV71, it's going to be hard.
An interesting thing, is how the audience in Kinnarps Arena are going to welcome Salzburg's Brett Sterling, who is a former HV71 player. Star players in the Austrian team is Raffl, Komarek, Pöck and Sterling.
