Well, no. Anton Grundel nets a slapshot in overtime and that means Färjestad beat ZSC 4-3 in overtime. Long long game, this one. Both teams played exactly to the same conclusion two weeks ago when Färjestad won 3-2 in overtime at Zurich.

ZSC Lions remain second in Group B with 5 points, Färjestad is third with 4 points. Vienna leads the group with 9.

    23:26
The third period is over in Karlstad and we still have no winner. 3-3 the score and overtime follows. It is now almost 3 and half hours since the start of the game.

    23:19
We have goals in Karlstad. First, it is Milan Gulas on a powerplay who puts the home side in front, but Roman Wick, also on a powerplay, equalizes with six minutes to go.

    23:10
Lots of penalties early in the third period, but still no change in score. Färjestad and ZSC are tied at two.

Third period is now live in Karlstad. Let´s see which side comes out on top and will finish the day second in Group B.

    22:44
The game at Färjestad is tied at two in the second intermission. One more period to play after that very long break earlier.

    22:35
The game in Färjestad is back on and Anton Hedman immediately scores for the home side to equalize. Still more than 25 minutes of ice hockey to be played there.

Meanwhile, the game in Gothenburg is over and Frölunda beats Servette 7-3. That means both teams are tied at 6 together with Villach on top of Group C. Interesting games ahead there.
Geneva supporters have clearly understood how to handle a loss. The Swiss side is 3-7 down in Frölunda.

    22:28
Despite Lakers' impressive comeback, Sparta wins 5-4 over Växjö and consolidates the lead at top of Group G. Entertaining game, that one!

    22:20
Skellefteå beats SønderjyskE 4-1 and is the second team to boast a 100% record after the third game day. Hats off to the Danish side who held on for pretty much the whole game, but eventually the Swedish powerhouse comes out on top.

    22:14
Oilers and Tappara have played their 1-1 game all the way to overtime in Stavanger. And there is late drama in Prague. Växjö has staged an impressive comeback and three goals by Lundh, Reddox and Reddox again narrow Sparta´s lead to just 5-4. Four minutes to play there.
And there are also first CHL points for Mannheim beating KalPa 3-1.
