"Interesting and exciting game. We started the game well, but we also allowed three very weak goals. The situation was really bad. Of course we came on strong in the second period and then our leader of the night, Petteri Nummelin played an amazing period. We knew that Storhamar is a dangerous and hard working team and tonight we really felt that it is so. Let's see what happens next week." (20:22:09)
"In the first period, we played very well and scored three goals, but in the second we ade mistakes in our zone and in the neutral zone. TPS is a very good team. They put a lot of pressure on us and played some physical hockey. In the third we stabilized our game, but one more mistake in the neutral zone led to the fourth goal. I don't think we were bad today. Next week, it's a new game."

Storhamar won the Group M and beat Red Bull Salzburg 6-3 on aggregate in the Round of 32. TPS won their group too and beat JYP Jyväskylä in the first play-offs round.
TPS is a familiar team for Storhamar's head coach, Aleksander Smirnov. The Russian coach played three seasons in Turku in the early 90s'.
"Of course it's very nice and special for me to meet TPS. I recognize some faces from my time in Finland and it's very nice to meet them. It's clear that it was a long time ago, but it always brings up old memories. I know we are coming to a nice place, a lovely arena and a great setting for a battle", Smirnov says on the team's website.
Storhamar started strong in their domestic campaign too, but have since fallen to the middle of the pack in the Norwegian Ligaen. The team is now placed sixth.
The home team TPS seems pretty strong too this season. They are 5th in the Finnish Liiga after 19 rounds.
TPS Turku wants to win as they start the series in Finland, but the team's head coach Ari-Pekka Selin doesn't expect the game to be easy.
"The moral state is important and it will surely be seen especially in the foot work. It's a big and important game for us", Selin says on TPS' website.
Lauri Tukonen, one of the TPS' most dangerous offensive players, was injured last week and won't be seen on ice against Storhamar.
