CSKA survived another Amur powerplay without any danger. The home side looks very harmless, even with a man more on the ice.

Another good job by the Amur penalty killing. CSKA was not creative enough and they had not a single scoring chance.

Amur Khabarovsk is still last in Chernyshyov Division with a huge 8 point gap between themselves and second-last Metallurg Novokuznetsk but recently Amur gained three consecutive wins at home with 9/9 points - the opponents were direct rivals Metallurg Novokuznetsk (5-1), the ambitious Sibir Novosibirsk (3-1) and league newcomers Slovan Bratislava (3-0).

CSKA Moscow is second in Tarasov Division behind Lokomotiv Yaroslavl with four points less than the division leaders against whom they lost twice in the last 10 days. Recently they defeated Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod (3-2 SO) and Metallurg Novokuznetsk (4-1) though.

The team from Moscow is the big favourite with top stars like Pavel Datsyuk, Alexander Radulov and Mikhail Grabovsky. If Amur can get a surprise win, we'll see in a few minutes.
