Dinamo Minsk is second-last in Tarasov Division with 33 points in 29 games. At the moment the Belarussians are not in their best momentum with five consecutive losses, including a terrible performance at home in the last match against the last in the KHL table Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg (3-6) who before had los 14 matches in a row.

Today's guests Metallurg Magnitogorsk with many lockout stars are themselves not in a too comfortable situaton with only two wins in their last seven matches. And they were not only beaten by the power houses of the league like it was the case against Avangard Omsk but also against outsiders Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk (2-3, 1-2 OT) and Vityaz Chekhov (3-4 OT). Still the team is third in Kharlamov Division and with a win in regulation today they even could comes as close as to just one point to division leaders Ak Bars Kasan.

It'll be interesting to see which of the two teams can stop the downward trend for now.
