    The Belarusians with a frantic push in the third period to make a game of this, but it was Russian dominance in the second period, where they scored twice, that decided this game.

    Nevertheless, the Belarusian fans give their team quite an ovation, and why not? They finish 3rd in the group and are off to the quarterfinals, where they will face Sweden. Russia will play either Czech Republic or France, whose game is still in progress.
