    Good afternoon and welcome to this Bashkortostan Cup match between SKA Saint Petersburg and Atlant Mytishchi. This may only be a pre-season tournament, but both sides will be wanting to flex their muscles.
     
    A lot of very prestigious teams have traveled to Ufa to take part in the tournament, with Metallurg Magnitogorsk, Dinamo Riga, Salavat Yulaev, and of course SKA and Atlant all taking part.

    Already we have the first penalty of the game and it's against Roman Rukavishnikov of Atlant for holding. But Jimmie Ericsson of SKA for the same offence in the same play has also been sent for an early rest

    Patrick Thoresen skates in with real speed, fakes an early shot but the goalkeeper reads the play and saves!
     
    Sergey Shmelyov now tries his luck against Ilya Ezhov, but the netminder's glove keeps him out!
     
    Roman Cervenka takes his time, but his backhander to the right is stopped by the goalkeeper's left pad!
     
    Mikhail Glukhov tries to go five hole on the netminder, but Ilya Ezhov shuts his pads in time!
     
    Despite that penalty shootout SKA have indeed beaten Atlant 3-1 in the pre-season tournament the Bashkortostan Cup! After trailing to Vyacheslav Kozlov's second period goal, markers from Anton Burdasov, Maxim Chudinov and Alexander Kucheryavenko gave SKA the win.
