Mattias Tedenby had probably the biggest scoring chance but Mustukovs in the home team goal stopped the penalty shot using his pad. We can expect a dramatic third period as the score difference is so small.

		HV71 Jonkoping beat their current opponent in the very first game of the group 5–3 and this has also been their only game in tournament so far. The Swedes are now facing the Steelers for the second time and they hope for another victory that would help them before two upcoming games against Salzburg.
