"Kärpät must choose: attack or defend."
Passing and opening has been troublesome for both teams. Especially Kärpät has had zero proper attacking plays from one end to another. Their distance, timing and passing quality has been off.
"Kärpät looks like that no-one on the ice knows what kind of a game they are trying to play."
Sparta was able to create some good chances and capitalize on Kärpät mistakes. Their shots were too often either weak or not on goal. With better shots, they might have the lead.
"Kärpät's playing is weak. It doesn't assert me at all and hasn't asserted during the whole autumn."

"The last two seasons we were unlucky to be eliminated from the CHL. We conceded the key goal in the last seconds against Linkoping and, a year later, the same happened against Karpat," said Lukas Pech, Sparta forward. "If we will leave our best on the ice, I think that we can battle for a good result on Karpat’s ice."
