Czechs beat Switzerland and Italy in their first two games in the tournament, 6:0 and 12:0 respectively. But then USA got in their way and gave them the first and only loss in the tournament so far, the US won 3:2SO.
India gave the Czech Republic a tough fight in the quarter-finals, but the home side turned around the game from being 0:1 down to winning it 3:1.
