- They were much better than us. They deserved the win and 6-1 is probably fair based on the game.
- I think the only positive things for us is that it's 20th August, not 20th January and nobody got hurt. It's the second game this year and we want to progress every game, which we didn't this time. That's what we'll do on Saturday in Düsseldorf.
TPS' head coach Ari-Pekka Selin:
- I'm proud of our team. The preparations were very good today and the start of the game was good. We have been together only two or three weeks and it's important to start like this at home. And of course our first line was strong.
- Teemu Lassila played a very good game today. Linz's forwards were very dangerous and played straight to the net.
