    The gold medal final of the 2012 IIHF U18 Women's World Championship at PSG Arena in Zlín, Czech Republic will be a clash of the tournament's two unbeaten teams: Canada and the USA. It is the fifth straight year that the two teams have met in the final, with the USA winning three of the previous four.

    In four games each this year, Canada has outscored its opponents 33-1, while the USA has a 35-2 edge.
