		Russian team really dominated in the first period. They sent 17 shots on Latvian goalie and managed to score twice thanks to Bogdan Yakimov (07:33) and Arseni Khatsei. (16:30). Russian leading 2:0 deflects the image of the game we could see over the first twenty minutes.

	20:51	Teams are starting slowly. Puck is mainly in the neutral zone.

	21:12	A puck was thrown towards the goalie by DANIL ZHARKOV what surprised Latvian goalie. Assist by Vyacheslav Osnovin.
	22:06	Now Latvians with the chance to strike back. The shot by Jevpaloves hit the post of Vasilevski´s net.
	22:55	Now we can see careful hockey from both teams with no chances to shoot.
		The shot by Maslov from the blue line stopped by the Latvian defenceman Makarovs.
	24:31	Vyacheslav Osnovin gets two minutes penalty for stick-holding.
	25:11	Another goal by Russia now in penalty killing when NIKITA ZADOROV took advantage of the 2 on 1 breakaway. Assisted by Danil Zharkov.
	27:10	A chance to score for Teodors Blugers stopped by great save of Vasilevski.

	29:26	Latvians won the face-off in their defensive zone and managed to throw the puck away to have a rest for the while.
	30:30	Now two on zero situation by Latvian players who couldn´t get to score their first goal of the game as the puck was missed by Edgars Kulda after the assist by Golovkovs.
	31:59	Russians with series of shots but no of them could really surprise Merzlikins.
	32:27	Now the puck is mainly in the neutral zone. Neither Russia nor Latvia could muster enough pressure to attack.
	33:30	The game slowed down a little bit at the moment.
	34:05	Danil Zharkov with a chance to score the 5th Russian goal but face-to face with Merzlikins he missed the net.
	34:50	Maslov gets two minutes for elbowing. Powerplay for Latvian team.
	35:59	Wrist shot from the blue line by Freimanis was blocked so Latvians so far didn´t get a shot at Vasilevski.

	38:25	Now we can see again that game kind of lost pace after the fourth Russian goal.

		We´ve seen the same kind of game as in the first period. After the goals of Zharkov and Zadorov during the first minutes of the second period game slowed down. Latvians could not manage to score...

	41:06	No chances so far. The slow pace from the end of the second period continues.
	41:50	The fifth Russian goal came after VYACHESLOV OSNOVIN sent the rebound puck to the net.Assists by Danil Zharkov.
	43:16	Kondrats´ shot from the line was blocked by one of the Russian defensemen.
	45:05	Russians with an effort to score another goal are shooting from every position available.
	45:53	One of the few Latvian shots was now stopped by goalie Vasilevski. It wasn´t hard enough to surprise him...
	47:15	Alexander Delnov was now facing Merzlikins in a good chance but the puck was taken from his stick in the last moment.
	47:29	Latvians could stop the action of the opponent only for the price of penalty. Riekstins gets two minutes.

		The Russian players dominated during the whole game today. They managed to score six goals while their opponent was lucky enough just to get one. The result of the match perfectly reflects the situation on the ice over the sixty minutes.
