Slovan Bratislava is experiencing a good first KHL season. With 38 points the Slovakians are third in Bobrov Division at the moment with only the traditional power houses of Dynamo Moscow and SKA St. Petersburg being in front of them. Slovan is not in its best momentum after the national team break with only one win in four games but that win happend a week ago against today's opponent Atlant Moscow Oblast who they beat 2-0 away. So that should give the Slovan fans hope that they can defend their position in their division at least for today.

The 2011 Gagarin Cup finalists Atlant Moscow Oblast are in a terrible situation currently with only Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg having less points of all KHL teams. Only 1 win in 13 games is not really promising. Changing their head coach earlier this month (Sergei Svetlov is now in charge for Janne Karlsson) didn't help either. And with the fact in mind that they were already beaten by Slovan after the national team break will not increase the Atlant fans' mood either.

If Slovan can add another win in front of their enthusiastic fans or if Atlant manages to get the big surprise we will see in a few minutes.
