Atlético Madrid has drawn level with Barcelona but the league leaders can get the three points difference back in Levante later this evening.
A give-away by Palop. The Sevilla goalkeeper blocks the ball to Arda who passes it to the free Miranda who adds another one from 3 metres.
The red card for Fazio was a very hard decision and will be the subject of a heated debate.
KOKE is left free at the second post and has no problems to get the ball over the line. The assists came from Diego Costa who simply overran Spahić. Looks like the early decision for Atlético.
Sevilla with one of their few attacks and the following counter leads to the next goal by the hosts. Falcao with a nice pass to Arda Turan who wants to get the ball into the center but Spahić deflects the ball into his own net.
FALCAO gets his 11th of the season by shooting the ball directly into the middle of the net. Palop was in the left corner and has no chance to get it.

FC Sevilla was placed in the midfield of the Primera División before this game but with a win tonight they could make the jump to the sixth spot and thus to the international spots. In recent weeks the team was struggling with only one win in five matches before they have won the derby against Real Betis with 5-1 last week. It will be interesting to see if they can use the confidence of the derby win or if they continue as in the weeks before. Neither their top striker Negredo nor his first substitute Manu del Moral are able to play today because both are injured while Medel is suspended. That's why Sevilla hopes for its strong midfielders Reyes, Rakitic and Jesús Navas to absorb these losses.
In recent years almost always the home team had won these duels but the last three times we saw a draw between Atlético and Sevilla. Today though the favourites are the hosts from Madrid.
