		Levante with a good first half and even the better chances but 15 minutes at the begin of the second half were enough for the favourites from Barcelona to get a 4-0 lead. In the end Levante even missed the consolidation goal via penalty shot. Barcelona now is 11 points ahead of their archrivals Real Madrid and three points ahead of their followers Atlético Madrid.

		When UD Levante receives FC Barcelona in their small Estadio Ciudad de Valencia everybody expects a clear win of the star squad of Tito Vilanova. A record of 11-1-0 in what is played of the season is quite a good argument for an away win of Barcelona but also Levante is in a good mood as they are sixth in the table and even have two points more than their big neighbours FC Valencia. Two weeks ago Levante only lost 1-2 at home against Real Madrid and the guests only scored the decisive goal in the 84th minute. If you have a look at the head-to-head record you will see that Barcelona had its problems in Levante in recent history, including three draws in the last five visits and a tight 2-1 win last season. If Levante can stop Leo Messi who only needs five more goals for a new historical goal record within a calendar year, there is maybe a point in for the hosts, but off course everything but a Barcelona win would be close to a miracle.
