		Avangard defended their small lead well during the third period while Torpedo only had very few chances. In the end Avangard could have had an easier day if they had used their penalty attempt or hit the empty net during the last minute. Avangard is back on top of Eastern Conference now.

	58:04	Out of the crowd the puck comes towards the Avangard net from a short distance but somehow Rämö gets the save.

		It's an entertaining match in Omsk with two teams who play with a lot of speed. There were few really good scoring opportunties though.

		Avangard Omsk is on top of Chernyshyov Division with 77 points in 38 matches and they share the lead in the Eastern Conference with Ak Bars Kazan. Today's opponents Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod gained 49 points in 36 matches so far and currently are out of the playoff positions in the Western Conference. After a two month long streak with at least a point in very game ended for Avangard a week ago, they already earned another two wins against Donbass Donetsk (2-0) and Lokomotiv Yaroslavl (4-2). Torpedo had two wins and two losses in their last four matches and most recently played against Traktor Chelyabinsk (3-1) and Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk (3-4).
