After a one-timer by DMITRY KALININ in power play the SKA lead now is 5-0 !
Assisted by Igor Makarov.
FYODOR FEDOROV gets his second of the game to make it 4-0 SKA! He appears alone in front of Sokolov, skates past him and fires the puck into the corner!
Assisted by Ivan Nepryayev.
MAXIM AFINOGENOV scores with the break away for SKA after a pass by Dmitry Vorobyov and leaves the game more or less decided already !
Assisted by Dmitry Vorobyov.
Kevin Dallman tries it with a shot from the blue line and the puck goes past Sokolov to double the guest lead in power play ! It seems PATRICK THORESEN deflected the shot in the end and he is credited with the goal! SKA didn't need long with the men advantage.
Assisted by Kevin Dallman and Petr Prucha.
And there is the guest lead! Suddenly FYODOR FEDEROV appears alone in front of Sokolov. He feint a pass but instead fired the puck past Sokolov !
Without assist.

Most recently Neftekhimik had a negative trend with three consecutive losses, twice against Ak Bars Kazan (2-3 OT/2-4) and CSKA Moscow (1-3). For SKA 8 wins in their last 9 games - and the only loss being against top team CSKA Moscow (1-2 OT) - are very promising.
The hosts' three topscorers are Renat Mamashev (33 pts), Petr Koukal (30 pts) and Yegor Milovzorov (21 pts). SKA's topscorers are Ilya Kovalchuk (35 pts), followed by Patrick Thoresen (30 pts) along with the trio Tony Mårtensson, Vladimir Tarasenko and Kevin Dallman (all 25 pts).
Both teams met for the first time this season in early October and Neftekhimik gained a surprising away win (3-2 SO). If they can surprise SKA once more or if the favourites from St. Petersburg grabb all three points, we'll see today.
