		After Patrick Thoresen deflected a shot by Kevin Dallman early in the third period it was clear it would be a tough job for Neftekhimik to turn around the game. In the end SKA even added three more goals for a solid 5-0 win!

		Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk are 4th in Kharlamov Division with 57 points in 39 games. With a four-point advantage towards the non-playoff spots in the Eastern Conference they have best chances to reach this year's Gagarin Cup playoffs. For today's guests SKA St. Petersburg the situation is even a lot better. They are leading the whole KHL with 86 points in 39 games and can already plan with the playoffs. Most recently Neftekhimik had a negative trend with three consecutive losses, twice against Ak Bars Kazan (2-3 OT/2-4) and CSKA Moscow (1-3).
