		Early in the second half Piti decided the match with his second goal of the night. Later Alcácer cut the lead to two again but a red card against Míchel destroyed all hopes for points for the guests. All in all the win is more than deserved for Rayo and it could have been two or three goals more easily. (21:51:00)

		This evening two of the surprise teams in the Primera División face each other when Rayo Vallecano receives Getafe CF for a duel between two teams of the Community of Madrid. Rayo Vallecano is 8th in the league table with 25 points, followed by Getafe with one point less on the 10th position. Rayo most recently had two successful games against teams from Valencia by defeating Valencia CF (1-0) and Levante UD (3-0). Getafe also had to travel to Valencia but lost against Valencia CF (2-4). This meant the end for a five-game unbeaten streak of Getafe. In the Spanish top division both teams only met twice last season. Rayo Vallecano won both games (1-0/2-0). Today the game should be completely open and both teams could come out with any possible result.
