    Metallurg lacked the fire power it has had all year due to the loss of it's star players to the NHL. Goaltending was also a contributing factor to tonight's loss for Metallurg as Lazushin gave up two goals that will give him nightmares tonight.

    With that win for Avangard, they now move into first place in the Eastern Conference, and tied for first in the KHL with SKA.
