It looked like the home team stopped playing seeing their lead getting so enormous. That allowed ALEXANDER MERESKIN to find some open area in front of the net and erase the shutout bid of Garipov.

I'm pretty sure Novokuznetsk won't erase this lead. Huge defensive mistake led to a breakaway for NIKO KAPANEN who used a backhand move to get the puck past Klyuchinkov.

Great play on the doorstep by tough Finnish line of the home team. After Kulyash dumped the puck on net, Immonen and JANNE PESONEN banged a way at it and it ended up going into the back of the net.

The home team managed to capitalize very fast on this man-advantage, on their second of the night. ALEXEI TERESHCHENKO received the puck in between the circles, Klyuchnikov had no chance to stop him.
