		After the second yellow card against Augusto Fernández very early in the second half and the substitution of Iago Aspas in the half time, it was a game into one direction. Celta defended with 10 men while Real Sociedad had several big opportunities to decide the match after Elustondo had scored the equalizer after a corner. In the end it was a lucky point for Celta which stays just outside the relegation zone.

		In an even first half home side Celta de Vigo were able to take over the initiative after half an hour and were soon rewarded with the lead through Michael Krohn-Dehli. Later the hosts even could have scored another one but guest goalkeeper Bravo was there with several good saves.

		After a negative trend in recent weeks home side Celta de Vigo has lost much ground in the Primera División table and are now only 17th with 19 points in 20 games. That is just one point better than the relegation zone. For today's guests Real Sociedad the world looks much brighter as they are 9th with 29 points and just two points behind the European spots. Celta had lost four out of five games with the minimum result of 0-1 before gaining a 1-1 in the last match on the road against top team Málga CF. Real Sociedad made a jump in the table especially due to their strength at home where they are unbeaten during the last six games, including a huge surprise against the big FC Barcelona last Saturday when they turned a two-goal deficit into a 3-2 win in the very last minute. When both teams met in August Real Sociedad won 2-1 at home after laying behind at the start of the second half. But usually Celta is a power house in home matches against Real Sociedad with a huge advantage in the head-to-head record. If Celta can get the win they need to get a bit out the relegation zone or if Real Sociedad can continue their run towards the European spots, we'll see soon.
