		It was a rather disappointing second half until the last 10 minutes where both teams had several huge chances and the game could have gone either way. In the end a very unlucky Rukavina wanted to clear the ball against Martins and decided the game for Levante with an own goal. Marc Valiente had the huge chance via head for the equalizer with seconds left to play but the ball went just wide! What a game with very luck but not undeserved winners Levante UD who gained very important three points on their way to European football!

		The guests Real Valladolid earned an early lead through a beautiful volley by Baraja. In the following time Levante tried to find a way into the game but failed to create many opportunities. In the end a great direct free kick by Barkero with two minutes left before half time gave Levante the equalizer! The game stays completely open after 45 minutes.

		Hosts Levante UD were the surprise team in La Liga for most of the season so far, being 8th with 30 points in 20 games and having the same amount of points as their bigger city rivals Valencia CF. Today's opponents Real Valladolid are not much worse with two points less in the same amount of matches. Most recently Levante though had a bit of trouble, losing three out of their last four games without even scoring a single goal while Valladolid won twice at home against RCD Mallorca (3-1) and Real Zaragoza (2-0). In August Valladolid defeated Levante with 2-0. Also the other two Primera División matches between both teams were decided by Valladolid in the new millenium. Which of both teams can make another step towards Europe, we'll see soon.
