		Getafe were the better side also in the second half without playing brilliant. Celta tried to cut the distance but they were not able to do so due to the lack of offensive power. For Getafe the European spots are still in reach while Celta have to fear for their spot in Primera División more than ever this season.

	74	Barrada and Colunga with a nice combination, win the ball back against three Celta players and then the shot by Barrrada is blocked by Celta defender Demidov. The home fans want a penalty and in fact Demidov touched the ball with his arm but not intentionally.

		The hosts from Getafe dominated the first half and gained the early lead through Colunga who also later appeared several times in front of Varas with good scoring opportunities. Despite the fast equalizer through a header by Augusto Fernández the guests never found into the match and the goals by Diego Castro and Federico Fernández for a solid 3-1 lead by Getafe leave the game almost decided.

	42	Goal for Getafe! And the corner leads to the 3-1 for Getafe! Hard cross by Pedro Léon towards the penalty point and Federico Fernández' header goes into the far corner! He was left completely alone and Varas had no time for a reaction anymore.

	40	Free kick cross by Krohn-Dehli from the right half field and Escudero clears the ball with a diving header at cost of a corner that stays harmless.

	20	Goal for Celta Vigo! Suddenly Augusto Fernández scores the equalizer for the guests from Vigo!! A beautiful cross by Roberto Lago from the left wing towards the penalty point found Augusto whose header found its way into the left bottom corner! No chance at all for Moyá!

		Before this matchday Getafe CF were 12th in Primera División with 29 points after 23 games and in the middle of nowhere, having an 8-point deficit towards the European spots and a 9-point advantage towards the relegation zone. These are problems that today's guests Celta de Vigo would like to have. They were 18th with 20 points and on the first relegation spot. Since the start of November Getafe stayed unbeaten in home games with a 3-3-0 record. This is quite important as the team failed to impress on the road recently with four consecutive losses, including two heavy packages in the last two away matches against top teams Real Madrid (0-4) and FC Barcelona (1-6). For Celta the situation is far worse. Though almost all of their games are very close they lost 6 of their last 9 matches and even worse, all with the minimum score of 0-1, showing where the team's problem lay - in the offense. Only 6 of possible 30 points in the last 10 games are for sure no reason for hope but rather that the Galicians might just have to play in Segunda División next season again. The head-to-head record is positive for Celta but both teams also only faced 5 times in the highest division in Spain. When both teams met for the first time this season, Celta won 2-1. If Getafe can get closer to the European spots with a win or if Celta can free themselves from the relegation pressure a bit, we'll see in a few minutes.
