    The visitors cut the lead to two on the 5-on-3 powerplay. Nosek fired the puck getting it to the doorstep where PETR KUMSTÁT took advantage of Schwarz being out of position and fired it home before the home goaltender could even move.

    What a great goal for the White Tigers midway through the second! A tic-tac-toe gets to PETR NEDVĚD who just let it fly from the right circle past moving Závorka to give Liberec a three-goal advantage. Good goal by the captain.

    The Tigers strike quick on the powerplay and expand the lead to two goals nearing the end of the first. JAROSLAV KUDRNA got to the puck in front of the gaping net and had no problem at all putting it home to double up the deficit.
