Long ball for Pabón. His header from inside the guest area was cleared with a spectacular save by Caballero but the danger was not yet over and Pabón scored with the rebound from a very sharp angle - 3:0 Betis!!
Just when the guests started to make a better impression another corner led to the 2-0 for Betis! At the six-yard box MARIO won the duel with Demichelis and his header went just under the crossbar! Caballero was left without a chance for a reaction!
After only half a minute the hosts get the lead! Beñat with the first corner of the game, from the left side, finds MOLINA at the near post and his header went into the left top corner!

Betis can't be happy with their performances in recent weeks. They stayed without a win in the last five league matches against Athletic Bilbao (1-1), Rayo Vallecano (0-3), Atlético Madrid (0-1), Real Valladolid (0-0) and Espanyol Barcelona (0-1). In their last four games they didn't even score a single goal. Málaga on the other side stayed unbeaten in their last five league matches against Celta Vigo (1-1), RCD Mallorca (3-2), Real Zaragoza (1-1), Levante UD (2-1) and Athletic Bilbao (1-0).
The head-to-head record between the two teams is quite even for games in Sevilla but Betis won their last home match against Málaga in Primera División in January 2004.
If Betis can get back on the winning track or if Málaga continue their positive trend, we'll see soon.
