The second half was less energetic until the dying minutes when a Iborra free kick hit the cross bar and then bounced straight down appearing to hit the goal line and bounce out. A Levante coach was sent off for his tirade at the ref. That was the spark Levante needed as they roared to life with chance after chance to win. However Getafe, backed by some solid goalkeeping by Moya, were up to the task and perserved the tie.
Both clubs walk away with a point, but will need more next weekend to keep their dreams of Europe alive.

Getafe coach Luis Garcia has lead his club to a three game winning streak where they have outscored their opponents 8-2. Levante, however, have not won a game in La Liga since January 26. Lavante are coming off a 0-0 draw on March 7 when they hosted FK Rubin Kazan for the opening leg of the Europa League third round.
The last time these clubs met was in October that finished with three points for Levante; a 1-0 victory.
