		Deportivo were the clearly better side during all 90 minutes of this game and earned a well-deserved 3-1 win at home against Celta de Vigo. While Celta continued with their terrible performances in away matches this season, these three points are extremly valuable for the last in the table, Deportivo who now cut their deficit towards the non-relegation zone to six points!

	90+2	What a waste by the home side! They had a counter attack that ended with two strikers alone in front of Varas but the last pass to Salomao was not precise enough and from a sharp angle the Depor forward missed the net!

		Deportivo controlled the first half without investing much. Due to many, many fouls in the midfield there were only few dangerous situations on both sides but the hosts had the better chances and went in front through an early goal by Riki. After half an hour Celta's Iago Aspas was sent off for a stupid assault against Marchena and left his team to play with 10 for more than an hour which makes Deportivo the clear favourites for the second 45 minutes.

	44	De Lucas with a shot from a very sharp angle at the left side of the Depor area, almost at height of the endline, and no danger at all for Aranzubia.
	43	Aythami (Deportivo) gets the first yellow card tonight for his team after a hard entry in the midfield.
	42	Riki was almost through for the 1-on-1 with Varas but in the very last moment he was intercepted by Demidov!
	41	Free kick cross by Pranjic towards the left side of the Depor six-yard box but his team colleagues all missed the ball...
	39	After a check on the left outside lane against Pizzi the referee signalled to continue playing and he did so but none of his team colleagues followed his example and he lost the ball again.

	9	Goal for Deportivo! Hard entry against Bruno Gama on the left wing but the referee lets the play continue. This turns out to be a great decision for the home side as the following lob by Valerón into the Celta area was used by RIKI to score into the left top corner for the early Depor lead!

		When Deportivo La Coruňa receive Celta de Vigo for the "battle of Galicia" it is a game of all or nothing for both sides. The situaton is absolutely terrible for Deportivo who are 20th and thus last in Primera División with only 17 points in 27 games and a 9 point deficit towards the non-relegation zone. For Celta it's not much better as they are 19th with 23 points and three points less than the non-relegation zone! The worst home team receives the worst away team but for both sides only three points count! If one of the teams can reduce the pressure a little bit with a derby win, we'll see in a few minutes.
