    With a very convincing performance Traktor Chelyabinsk won 4-0 in the end and won the series with 4 wins to 1 in just five games and make it to the Conference finals in the East where they will face the winner of the series between Ak Bars Kazan and Salavat Yulayev Ufa. Few experts expected such a walk-trough by Traktor before the start of this series.

    Hero of the series was definately Traktor goalie Michael Garnett who earned 4 (!) shutouts in 5 matches!
