    A goal early in the third period by Alexei Tereshchenko was enough to give favourites Ak Bars Kazan not only a 4-3 win today but also a 4-3 win in the whole series! Outsiders Ufa fought extremly well during the whole series but are out of competition now! No team deserved a loss here and not in this series! The best hockey we saw in this year's Gagarin Cup playoffs so far!

    Ak Bars now face Traktor Chelyabinsk in the Eastern Conference finals.
