		Both teams played with a lot of passion, especially in the second half, and especially the guests from Madrid but in the end Rayo Vallecano only take one point away from Mallorca after hitting the goal post three times! While Rayo couldn't come closer to the European spots, Mallorca stays deep in the relegation zone.

	90+4	After a cross by Hutton for Arizmendi it was Ruben who punched the ball away and then covered it up to save the guests a point in Mallorca!

		Rayo had the luckier start when they went in front with their first shot on target after just seven minutes through a brilliant strike by Piti. Just shortly afterwards though Mallorca managed to score the equalizer through Alfaro – video review later showed a clear offside position by Bigas in the same play. In the following time both teams rather concentrated on playing very physical instead of creating further opportunities. The best one though had Delibasic who hit the goal post. Stay tuned for the second half!

	44	Giovani goes down inside the guest area after not making it past the last two defenders. This was rather a dive though and he should be lucky not to have been booked for it. The home fans though still are furious about the referee's decision.
	43	Hutton with another long cross from the right outside lane towards the six-yard box but the following header by Hemed was not placed well enugh as it first hit the ground and then was easily caught by Rayo goalkeeper Ruben.
	42	Very long ball towards the left wing for Giovani who made it past his opponent of the left side of the guest area but the following cross then went wide...
	41	There is little football being played currently but mostly fouls and the following free kicks take a lot of time.

	21	Fast combination in the midfield between several Mallorca players but the last pass by Marti was just a bit too wide for his team mate Giovani.
	19	The following free kick cross from the half field was just inches too high for two Rayo strikers who had escaped from their guards and would have been alone in front of Mallorca goalkeeper Calatayud.
	18	Bigas (Mallorca) is booked for a hard entry against Leo Baptistao whose way he blocked when the Rayo forward was about to get a nice through ball.
	17	Casado received a long ball by Piti on the left wing but his cross then was blocked by a defender before Piti got the ball back and fired a distance shot over the crossbar.

	7	Goal for Vallecano! With their first attack of the match the guests take the lead! A cross from the left wing by Casado seemed to land behind the Rayo forwards but with an acrobatic move PITI scored with a sideways scisscor kick from about 14 metres distance! What a strike!
	6	Free kick by Giovani from the right wing but his cross went straight into the gloves of Rayo goalkeeper Ruben.
	5	Mistake by Mallorca defender Geromel who wasn't able to controll a back pass but his team colleagues helped him out before the Rayo offense cxould create any further danger.

		It is a very crucial game for home side RCD Mallorca who are in danger of being relegated as 19th in Primera División with 27 points in 31 games and thus a one-point deficit to the non-relegation zone. Today's opponents Rayo Vallecano have are playing a far better season as they are 9th in the table with 44 points and only a six-point deficit towards the European spots. After three consecutive losses Mallorca stopped the negative trend with a very important last-minute 1-0 win against last-placed Celta de Vigo (1-0). For Rayo recent weeks have been an up and down when they faced FC Barcelona (1-3), Málaga CF (1-3), Celta de Vigo (2-0) and Real Sociedad (0-2). If one of the two teams can make a big step closer to their season goals, we'll see very soon!
