Osasuna were not able to stop their negative trend in recent weeks and only won one out of their last six league matches and a 1-0-5 record. For Real Sociedad the world looks a lot happier as they have only lost one game since early November 2012 with a 12-8-1 record and most recently they beat Málaga CF (4-2) and Rayo Vallecano (2-0).
Usually the head-to-head record between the two teams showed a clear advantage for Real Sociedad but in the last 10 matches they had their problems with the team from Navarra and especially in the last six matches their success was very limited against Osasuna wtih a 1-2-3 record.
If Osasuna can make a big jump away from the relegation zone or if Real Sociedad can improve their chances to reach the Champions League qualification by extending their unbeaten run, we'll see soon!
