		Celta de Vigo played with a lot of heart and passion and in the end they had a last minute win against direct competitors Real Zaragoza to keep their chances alive to stay in the league this season! Both teams are now tied at 27 points!

		Both teams had a rather nervous begin as they urgently need a win this evening. After the 0-1 Celta looked very shocked and the home fans were all quiet but after the equalizer Celta took over the initiative completely and created a lot of pressure that opened them chances for even another goal. Bermejo went down just in front of the guest area with Sapunaru standing several metres next to him but the referee made a call and even gave him a card. One of the most ridiculous referee decisions of this La Liga season!!

		Before this matchday Celta de Vigo were 20th and thus last in Primera División with only 24 points in 31 games and a four-point deficit towards the non-relegation zone. For their opponents Real Zaragoza the situation wasn't much better being two spots better and having collected three points more. Celta de Vigo had a huge negative trend in recent months with only one win in their last 13 (!) games and only had one point in their last six matches against Sevilla FC (1-4), Real Madrid (1-2), Deportivo La Coruña (1-3), FC Barcelona (2-2), Rayo Vallecano (0-2) and RCD Mallorca (0-1). For Zaragoza the past months were not really better with 14 (!) consecutive games without a win though they showed a small improvement in the last three matches against Real Madrid (1-1), Deportivo La Coruña (2-3) and FC Barcelona (0-3). The head-to-head record between the two teams is very balanced with a clear advantage for the home side in each match. When both time met for the first time this season Celta had a 1-0 road win against Zaragoza. If one of the two teams can free themselves a bit from the high pressure to get out of the relegation zone, we'll see soon!
