Thanks for watching and looking forward to the next games of this tournament! (18:28:04)
Another perfect action by MATT DUCHENE and Canada goes into the lead 3-1. Young striker team took the puck already in the neutral zone and like a knife through butter slipped over two players, exchanged the black rubber with Jordan Eberle and ended in the completely uncovered cage! Duchene scored the second goal in the game! Assisted by Jordan Eberle.
21:14 (11:4 ).
Eric Staal sent the puck to the front of the net on completely free STEVEN STAMKOS, who beat goalkeeper Danish by a forehand deke. Assisted by Eric Staal, Claude Giroux.
MATT DUCHENE rounded Danish net, didn´t let Daniel Nielsen to stop him and beat also S. Nielsen by backhand shot through a mess in front of him. Assisted by Jordan Eberle.
So easy, so easy! Canadians maybe overslept and there goes a punishment. MORTEN GREEN gets a pass through two defenders and sent the puck under the cover! Assisted by Kim Staal, Daniel Nielsen.

From the Canadian roster someone can get scared. There are stars of the largest size as Steven Stamkos, Claude Giroux or Eric Staal. It is expected that the most used defender will be Brian Campbell. The defence of Canada has little experience from WC. Only two defenders have played World Championship – Luke Schenn and the oldest member of the Canadian team Stéphane Robidas, age thirty-six. The leader should be Phoenix goalie Mike Smith, who is at the World Championships for the first time. His back will cover Devan Dubnyk of the Edmonton.
The team of Per Bäckman are represented by three players from the NHL. Defender Philip Larsen (Dallas) and Oliver Lauridsen and a wing – Mikkel Boedker (Phoenix). The rest of the players player are from the Swedish Elitserien, DEL German, Finnish SM-liiga and several representatives from the Danish league.
Canada and Denmark met recently at the World Championship in Latvia 2006. In the first period Canadians scored three goals, in the second three conceded, however. The last period had to decided and Canada won 5:3.
Danes played the first game in their history in 1949 right with Canada. In Stockholm they suffered huge debacle 0:47, which is also the world record for the elite division WC.
