Referees: Croft (USA), Ronn (FIN) – Suominen (FIN), Woodworth (USA).

TEAM CZECH REPUBLIC still has troubles of shooting goals. Central Europeans faced this problem since the preliminary duels and the situation does not look good even in the tournament. In the first game, the team of coach Hadamczik defeated Belarus 2-0 (Goals: Voracek, Vrbata), but in the very next game lost to home Team Sweden 1-2 (Goal: Hudler). Against strong team of Switzerland Czechs will have really hard work. Moreover, there are more troubles – the health of goalkeepers, when actually the only health is the "Nr. 3" Pavel Francouz. Alexander Salak has a broken ring-finger and Ondrej Pavelec, estimated goalie Czech number one, has problems with his ankle. How do Czechs deal with it?

TEAM SWITZERLAND has had an impressive entry into the tournament. In perhaps the toughest possible start triumphed 3-2 over Sweden (Goals: Bieber, Niederreiter and Gardner) and then won 3-2 after a shootout against a strong team of Canada (Goals: Hollenstein, Niederreiter, raid: Suri). Will they find a recipe to beat the Czech team?
